韓国のU23代表がWAFF 2024で1ゴール差でタイを破る

Thailand's U-23 national soccer team lost to South Korea in the first match of the WAFF U23 Championship-Saudi 2024 tournament on Wednesday night. The match was held at Al Fateh Stadium in Al Mubaraz, Saudi Arabia.

South Korea's Cho Hyung-taek scored the only goal of the game in first-half stoppage time.

Thailand coach Isara Sritallo said after the match that Thailand's players need to work on their attacking side in the next match. He admitted that some of the players were not at 100% physically, but said they all did a good job in the first match.

He further added that due to South Korea's larger size, Thailand's players were unable to catch the ball in the forward areas several times, but the team learned the opponent's techniques and started to get better in the second half.

“We need to work on building our own tactics and scoring methods,” he said. “Please continue to support the children who have worked hard for their country.”

In their next match, Thailand will play Jordan, who lost 1-2 on penalties to Saudi Arabia on Wednesday after a full-time score of 1-1. The next match will be played at Al Fateh Stadium on Saturday, March 23rd at midnight (Thailand time). Fans can watch live on his YouTube channels on Thairath TV and BG Sports.
